The training covered topics such as Digital Humanities Theory and Practice from a Global Perspective, Carrying Forward Fine Traditions to Become Excellent Editing and Publishing Professionals, and Positive Psychological Drive and Workplace Emotion Management for Enterprise Employees. In addition, trainees visited the Ministry of Education's Philosophy and Social Sciences Laboratory for Intelligent Computing of Cultural Heritage, the Hubei Provincial Secrecy Education Training Base, and the campus cultural landscapes of Wuhan University.

Trainees not only enhanced their professional competence in specialized knowledge and skills but also gained deeper insights into ideological concepts and professional ethics via this training, laying a solid foundation for high-quality development of Higher Education Press in the new era.

The training further deepened the cooperation between the School and Higher Education Press. The two parties have always maintained a good industry-university-research partnership. In November 2013, they signed the Cooperation Framework Agreement between Wuhan University and Higher Education Press Co., Ltd., and jointly established the China Education Publishing Research Center in 2014 to conduct in-depth research, teaching, training, and consulting in education publishing. The Bulletin of the China Education Publishing Research Center edited by the Center provides timely information for industry professionals and broadens their horizons; Higher Education Press has undertaken summer internships and practical training activities for students majoring in publishing science, helping them integrate theory with practice and improve their practical abilities. In the future, the School and Higher Education Press will continue to work together to promote the high-quality development of education publishing and strive to cultivate more outstanding professionals.
