As core member of iSchools and the first member from developing country, our school has always regarded internationalization as one of its core development strategies. As early as 2008, our school advocated the establishment of the International Collaborative Academy of Library and Information Science, Wuhan University. Upholding the philosophy of "Facing Changes and Exploring the Future", it actively carries out international cooperation and exploration in demand analysis, technological innovation, management models, and policy research in the field of information management. In recent years, adhering to the philosophy of "Openness, Cooperation, and Innovation," the school has comprehensively promoted the internationalization process of discipline construction. From creating a strong internationalization cultural atmosphere to building high-level international cooperation platforms; from expanding a broad international cooperation network to focusing on international talent cultivation, the school has continuously deepened its efforts in international exchanges and cooperation, initially establishing a discipline development mechanism and international cooperation strategic pattern empowered by internationalization.

Founded in 2003 by top global information colleges and schools, iSchools has developed over the years and now has more than 130 high-level information colleges/schools, business schools, and computer schools from around the world as members. The iConference2025 was themed Living in an AI - algorithmic World, aiming to deeply explore the profound impacts of generative artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analysis, and related technologies on the collection, storage, retrieval, use, and distribution of information. The conference was held in a hybrid of virtual and onsite meeting, with the virtual sessions taking place from March 11 to 15, 2025, and the onsite sessions from March 18 to 22, hosted by Indiana University.

Our school further expanded its international cooperation network and enhanced its international academic impact by participating in iConference2025. Looking to the future, our school will continue to deepen its characteristics of internationalized education, commit to cultivating more innovative talents with a global vision, inject new powerful momentum into Wuhan University's "Double First-Class" construction, and write a more brilliant chapter on the international academic stage.
